From Texas to Nevada

I thought for my next couple of posts that I would do some tributaries. For this one, I pay tribute to a friend of mine from Houston. He is one of the friendliest and happiest educators that I know. When I was teaching down there in Houston, I could tell that this man had a tremendous impact among the community and his friends. Russell Faldyn has many talents, but I think the biggest talent he has is being able to connect with anyone. Not long ago I saw a post of his on Facebook for a planter box he had made out of old fence posts. Inspired, I went to work. I loved the vibrant colors of his piece–mine may not be as vibrant, or placed in a proper setting, but I had fun with this quick and simple build. Thanks for connecting with me again Mr. Faldyn!
